This moon lamp and wireless phone charger is so unique and incredibly cool! It comes with the base stand and then moon lamp separately. There is a string magnet inside the top of the moon that you hold parallel to the base and slowly rise it up to the part that hooks down until it floats. You can choose to turn the lamp on or off by the push of the button on the wooden base of the wireless charger. They provide the cord and all you need to make this work right out of the box including detailed instructions. This would make for a great gift for the space enthusiast or for your child or even yourself!
We gave this to our daughter for her birthday because her room is astronomy themed. Honestly I was skeptical but that was immediately replaced by awe when we plugged it in. The moon is an amazing replica, complete with the same moonscape terrain you see hanging in the night sky. Perhaps the best thing is the color - it appears correct. Not overly white, but that same subtle whiteish hue. It rotates on its invisible axis (via magnet) and looks amazing. This would make a great gift for anyone into astronomy. I was very pleasantly surprised.
The materials are good quality the moon seems to be made of a nice plastic. the moon itself is a little larger than expected, but it floats nicely and looks cool when its on or off. it has a wireless charger included on the base. I love it, I recommend the purchase
